[origin: EP2548668A1] The method involves introducing torque into a work-piece (1) with two opposite spaced holding devices (2,3), and measuring the work-piece with a measuring device (4). The measuring device and the work-piece are moved relative to each other. The work-piece is measured in the torsion straightening machine (23), continuously. A subsequent straightening process is carried out by introducing torque, when the work-piece is in the torsion straightening machine. An independent claim is included for a straightening machine with a table.
