Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2548700A1] The pneumatic tool (1) has a double-acting cylinder (2) comprising a cylinder housing (3) provided with a piston rod (5). A head housing (14) is connected to double-acting cylinder. An actuating element (30) is actuated by switching elements (26,27) provided in the head housing. An interrogation unit is provided with a sensor (31) comprising two electrical sensor units for detecting the position of actuating element based upon action of switching elements.
