Abstract (en)
The motor vehicle hinge has two hinge parts (1a) connected with each other, a vehicle side arranged base body (2a), and a coupling element (3a) that is connected with the latter hinge part. A locking element is adjusted between a locking position and a releasing position. The coupling element and the base body are fixed with each other in locking position. The coupling element is separated from the base body in releasing position. An actuating unit (5) is provided for adjusting a locking unit (4a) from the locked position into the releasing position.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kraftfahrzeugscharnier mit einem ersten Scharnierteil und einem zweiten Scharnierteil, die gelenkig miteinander verbunden sind. Um ein Kraftfahrzeugscharnier bereit zu stellen, welches auch bei verunfallten Fahrzeugen eine zuverlässige Öffnungsmöglichkeit bietet, ist vorgesehen, dass das erste oder zweite Scharnierteil einen fahrzeugseitig anordbaren Grundkörper, ein mit dem anderen Scharnierteil gelenkig verbindbares Kopplungselement, eine Verriegelungseinheit, die zwischen einer das Kopplungselement und den Grundkörper in einer Normallage aneinander festlegenden Sperrstellung und einer das Kopplungselement von dem Grundkörper trennbaren Freigabestellung verstellbar ist und eine Betätigungseinheit zur Verstellung der Verriegelungseinheit aus der Sperrstellung in die Freigabestellung aufweist.
