[origin: WO2011117128A1] The invention relates to a pulsation dampening capsule, comprising at least one metal membrane housing, hermetically sealed tight by two membrane shells (3, 4), which separates an interior chamber (1) from a surrounding pressure medium, wherein the membrane shells (3, 4) are bonded to each other along a circumferential seam (5) such that the pulsation dampening capsule can be compressed and expanded under external pressure load in a spring-elastic manner as a result of pressure pulsation as an energy converter. According to the invention, a deformable body (2) is arranged in the inner chamber (1), wherein said body completely fills out an intermediate chamber (1) remaining between the two membrane shells (3, 4) when the membrane shells (3, 4) are in a spring-elastically compressed state, so that the mass (2) is precisely adapted to the inner contour of the deformed membrane shells (3, 4), preventing the formation of hollow chambers.
