The feeding apparatus includes a hollow cylinder (14) rotating along the longitudinal axis (12) and having an inlet (20) for supplying the to-be-centrifuged medium, a flight path (30) of medium, extending transversely to the direction of a flight moving unit (32), and two portions intercepting a portion of the flying medium along the flight direction. The first portion includes a cutting edge for cutting off the to-be-intercepted portion of the medium, and a deflecting surface for deflecting the intercepted portion of medium transversely to the direction of flight.

Eine Einlaufvorrichtung einer Zentrifuge, deren Zentrifugentrommel um eine Längsachse (12) drehbar ist, ist mit einem Einlauf (20) zum Zuführen eines zu klärenden Mediums in die Zentrifugentrommel, einer dem Einlauf folgenden Flugstrecke des zugeführten Mediums und einer sich quer zur Flugrichtung des fliegenden Mediums bewegenden Einrichtung (32) gestaltet. Die Einrichtung umfasst einen ersten Abschnitt (40) und einen zweiten Abschnitt (42), von denen der erste Abschnitt einen Teil des fliegenden Mediums abfangend wirkt und der zweite Abschnitt den abgefangenen Teil an Medium quer zur Flugrichtung bewegend wirkt.
