Abstract (en)
A liquid cartridge for a line head printer is provided comprising a casing comprising an outer surface and a liquid reservoir disposed in the casing and configured to store more than 100 Milliliter liquid therein and a liquid flow path is configured to place the liquid reservoir in fluid communication with an exterior of the liquid cartridge on the outer surface of the casing and a sensor configured to detect a first and a second position of a movable member and configured to output a signal in relation to the first and second position of the movable member and a storage configured to store data and a substrate disposed on the outer surface of the casing and on which a plurality of terminals are disposed. The plurality of terminals comprises a sensor terminal connected to the sensor and a data terminal connected to the storage and a power terminal connected to at least one of the sensor and the storage. The distance between the power terminal and the data terminal is greater than a distance between the power terminal and the sensor terminal. The liquid cartridge therefore provides an improved electrical overall robustness in respect of electrical short circuits.
