Abstract (en)
The device has a pawl (80) which is inserted between releasing and actuating apparatuses (10,30,40) and contact unit. A temperature-sensitive element (200) lying outside the conducting path, is engaged with switching mechanism (30) based on temperature dependant deformation when switching temperature exceeds a preset value. The contact unit is set to open state and lock is triggered to unlatched state when releasing and actuating apparatus triggers the lock to unlatched state.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Übertemperaturschutzeinrichtung für ein elektrisches Schutzschaltgerät, insbesondere für ein mehrpoliges, elektronisch ausgestaltetes Niederspannungsschaltgerät. Zum Übertemperaturschutz wird ein außerhalb der Strombahnen des Schutzschaltgeräts liegendes temperatursensitives Element, vorzugsweise ein Bimetallelement 200 eingesetzt. Bei Überschreiten einer vorgebbaren Gerätetemperatur greift durch temperaturbedingte Formänderung das temperatursensitive Element in die Schaltmechanik des Schutzschaltgeräts, insbesondere über eine Schaltklinke ein. Es wird eine Schlossentklinkung ausgelöst und der Kontaktapparat des Schutzschalters öffnet.
