Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2011120730A1] The invention is based on a run-off securing device, in particular a run-off securing device of a handheld power tool, to avoid running off of a clamping element (12a) and/or a tool (14a) from a spindle (16a), having at least one transmission unit (18a; 18b), which is intended for being removably coupled to the spindle (16a) and has at least one first transmission element (20a; 20b) and at least one second transmission element (22a; 22b), which is movable in relation to the first transmission element (20a; 20b). It is proposed that the transmission unit (18a; 18b) should have at least one movement changing unit (24a; 24b), which is intended for at least partially transforming a first relative movement between the first transmission element (20a; 20b) and the second transmission element (22a; 22b) into a second relative movement in a braking mode.
