Abstract (en)
The headgear (1a) has a hat structure (3a) which is partially and dimensionally stable. A brim (2a) is arranged protruding over portion of a circumference of the hat structure. An impact damping shell (4a) is arranged surrounding a head-conforming shape portion. The lower side of the brim is pulled inwards as far as the head-conforming shape portion to cover lower edge of the impact damping shell.

Eine Kopfbedeckung mit einem zumindest abschnittsweise formstabilen Hutaufbau sowie mit einer zumindest über einen Teil eines Umfangs des Hutaufbaus abragenden Krempe, und mit einer eine Kopfpassform umgebenden Stoßdämpfungsschale ist bekannt. Erfindungsgemäß ist eine Unterseite der Krempe bis zur Kopfpassform nach innen gezogen und überdeckt einen unteren Rand der Stoßdämpfungsschale. Bevorzugter Einsatz im Reitsport.
