[origin: EP2554075A1] The chair has a rocking mechanism (120) having a fixed base support (121) with a conical receptacle (122). An upper mechanism (125) is pivotally connected to base support and is arranged adjacent to conical receptacle, for fastening rocking mechanism to a seat, a seat support, or frame of the chair. A spring element (128) is interconnected with upper mechanism and base support for returning upper mechanism from a pivoted position into a starting position.
