The door has two U-shaped side elements spaced parallel and opposite to form a receptacle and comprising a U-shaped cross-sectional profile. Multiple panels (6) are mounted in the U-shaped cross-sectional profile. Each side element is jointly formed by an element (5A). An L-shaped profile of the element is associated with a removable branch (7A) of the U-shaped cross-sectional profile. The removable branch comprises a hook (24) complementary to an opening (25) of the element, and is mounted on a mechanically reinforced zone. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling an overhead door.

La présente invention concerne une porte basculante (1). Une telle porte basculante est généralement montée dans un chambranle (2) de porte. Une telle porte comporte un tablier (3) monté dans un réceptacle (4), ce dernier étant lui-même monté coulissant sur le chambranle. Le réceptacle est principalement formé de deux longerons latéraux (5) dans lesquels sont montés des panneaux (6) constitutifs du tablier. Ces longerons ont un profil en coupe en forme de « U », des branches (7) de ce profil en « U » enserrant une face avant (8) et une face arrière (9) de chaque panneau du tablier. Selon l'invention, au moins une branche (7A) d'un longeron latéral est amovible et est rapportée sur la porte après positionnement des panneaux formant le tablier.
