Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2555169A2] The method involves performing data exchange between an emergency route terminal (1) and an access control system (2) via a bus (11) and an interface (10) in the terminal by a communication protocol of a type as performed between the control system and a defined bus station of the control system. Status signals of the terminal are functionally corresponded to status signals of an access control reader (3) in a data sequence to be transferred from and to the terminal. The data sequence from the terminal into the control system is interpreted as another data sequence to the reader. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an emergency route terminal (2) an access control reader.
