Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2555585A1] The apparatus (10) has two heating circuits (26, 30), where each heating circuit comprises a process control unit (36) for controlling two power supply modules (12-20). Each heating circuit comprises outputs parts (24, 29) that are connected in parallel to power supply modules. A heating control unit (32) is connected between a process control device and the power supply modules for controlling and monitoring the power supply modules. Each power supply module includes three identical sub-modules, which are connected via an internal system bus. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for operating a power source device (2) a computer program product having a program code unit with a set of instructions to perform a method for operating a power source device (3) a digital memory medium i.e. disk, with a set of instructions to perform a method for operating a power source device.
