[origin: WO2011124536A1] The invention relates to a cleaning appliance having a housing which has a storage area for setting down a container and having castors for moving the cleaning appliance. In order to develop the cleaning appliance in such a manner that the container can be fixed simply to the storage area, at least one retaining element is arranged on a first edge of the storage area, which retaining element projects out of the storage area and has a concave receptacle for a carrying handle which is articulated on one side of the container which is set down on the storage area, said receptacle being on the end face thereof which faces away from the storage area.
