[origin: WO2011124847A1] The subject of the invention is a cooling device (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising a cooling circuit capable of cooling a battery charger assembly (4) and a motor assembly (5) using a liquid coolant, a first pump (2) being able selectively of supplying the motor assembly (5) with liquid coolant and a second pump (3) being able selectively to supply the charger assembly (4) with liquid coolant, the cooling circuit being controlled by a control system (9), it being possible for the cooling device (1) to be switched on or off electrically, characterized in that the control system (9) is able to keep the device (1) switched on (electrically powered) when the vehicle is at the end of its journey and the temperature of one part (11, 12) of the motor assembly (5) is above a threshold temperature.
