[origin: EP2556931A1] The method involves moving pliable material web (28) of paper having individual sections (40) by first double slide linear motor (4) and second double slide linear motor (8) connected in parallel state, to material movement direction (12). The portion (34) of web on driver (22) of first motor is separated by using cutting tool (42), and the severed portion is transported away by second carriage of second motor. Before separation of the portion of material web, the material web is gripped by driver of first carriage of second motor. The length of a portion of corresponding region of web along the material movement direction is drawn by driver of first double slide linear motor, such that the portion of web on driver of second carriage (20) of second double slide linear motor is passed. An independent claim is included for device for process pliable material web.
