[origin: EP2557222A2] The device (1) has a rocker unit (10) comprising a rocker spring (12) arranged at a rocker (11). An electrically actuatable actuator unit (30) is mechanically linked with a lever unit (20). A closing arbor (99) is engaged into a pawl (13) to provide rotational torque on the pawl. The rocker spring exerts another rotational torque on the rocker. The lever unit is designed in a manner that force of the actuator unit is converted into third rotational torque, which affects the rocker. An independent claim is also included for a clothes dryer comprising a control unit activating an actuator unit to open a door.
