[origin: WO2011128529A1] The invention relates to an insole for a footwear article, and to a footwear article provided with such an insole, for use in designing shoes with the intent of improving comfort. The insole includes a main portion 1 intended for receiving the pressure of the foot of a user, comprising at least one deformable cavity 2, 5 filled with a compressible material 3, 6 which is permeable to a fluid, and provided with at least one inlet E1, E2 for the intake of the fluid as well as at least one outlet S1, S2, S3 which is separate from the inlet, for the discharge of the fluid. Moreover, the thickness of the main portion, in the non-deformed state of the cavity, is substantially constant, with the possible exception of the circumference of the cavity and/or with the possible exception of the inlet and/or outlet.
