[origin: WO2011128106A1] The invention relates to a mould (2) for producing moulded bricks (23) having at least one lateral face (25) having a texture (26), wherein the mould (2) comprises at least one flexible belt (22), wherein the flexible belt (22) surrounds at least one mould wall (21) of the mould bottom part (4), wherein said wall defines the mould cavity (11), in order to act on the material for producing the moulded brick (23) that is received in the mould cavity (11), and in order in this manner to impress a texture (26) on at least one of the lateral faces (25) of the moulded brick (23), wherein the flexible belt (22) can be moved relative to the mould bottom part (4) and wherein the flexible belt (22) is disposed in such a manner that it moves around the mould wall (21) when the moulded brick (23) is ejected from the mould cavity (11). The mould (2) comprises an active auxiliary device (24), by means of which a rolling resistance of the flexible belt (22) can be altered.
