[origin: WO2011128541A1] The invention relates to a lock assembly for a vehicle openable body section capable of being mounted onto a body portion (1) of said vehicle, characterized in that it includes: a holder (20) for positioning said lock (10) on said body portion (1); and a lock (10) that is mounted onto said positioning holder (20). Said holder (20) includes: a means (40) for setting the relative position of said lock (10) in relation to the body portion (1) when the openable body section is being closed; and a means (24) for attachment onto the vehicle body portion (2) in the set position, said attachment means being accessible when the openable body section is closed.
