[origin: EP2559813A1] The clamping tong (1) has a housing (2) provided with clamping jaws, where the clamping jaws (3) are arranged opposite to each other. A hydraulic piston (4) is arranged such that its direction of action does not correspond to a direction of action of the clamping jaws.
