Abstract (en)
The switch (11) has a main drive device (25) established for moving an operating element (19) of a switching element (17). A booster (27) is activated independent of the main drive device and coupled with the operating element by a coupling element (33) of the switch such that the booster supports movement of the operating element caused by the main drive device. The booster comprises an energy storage (31) e.g. battery, that is measured in such a manner that the energy storage memorizes energy need for an actuation of an actuator (29) i.e. linear drive, of the booster. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a power switch for switching medium voltage.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Leistungsschalter (11) zum Schalten insbesondere von Mittelspannung, mit einem Schaltelement (17) und einer Hauptantriebsvorrichtung (25), die zum Bewegen eines Betätigungselements (19) des Schaltelements (17)eingerichtet ist. Um den maximal zulässigen Strom, für den sichergestellt ist, dass der Leistungsschalter (11) sicher betrieben werden kann, zu erhöhen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Leistungsschalter (11) eine unabhängig von der Hauptantriebsvorrichtung (25) aktivierbare Zusatzantriebsvorrichtung (27) aufweist, die mittels eines Koppelelements (33) des Leistungsschalters (11) mit dem Betätigungselement (19) derart gekoppelt ist, dass sie eine von der Hauptantriebsvorrichtung (25) verursachte Bewegung des Betätigungselements (19) unterstützen kann.
