Abstract (en)
A double-break vacuum interrupter is disclosed. The vacuum interrupter is mainly used in Medium voltage power switch device and includes an insulating shell, a static component and a dynamic component located in the insulating shell, wherein a middle isolation shield is provided at a convex edge in the upper part of the cavity of the said insulating shell, the said middle isolation shield is located between the static and the dynamic components, and the said middle isolation shield is a circular ring. The static withstand voltage level in the double-break vacuum interrupter according to the invention can be improved by setting the middle isolation shield in the upper part of the insulating shell.
