[origin: WO2011131788A1] The invention relates to a chronograph mechanism for a clockwork movement (1) intended to drive at least one first member (15, 51) for displaying a time unit of a chronometered time. This mechanism comprises a first counter (10) of this time unit, associated with a first display member (15) and able to be driven from a mobile (9) of the clockwork movement, as well as a mobile (44) intended to carry the display member (51) and arranged in such a way as to be able to be driven in synchronism with the first counter (10). The mechanism is characterized in that it comprises a second counter (35) of the same time unit, associated with the display member (51) and able to be driven in synchronism with the first counter (10), the second counter being arranged in such a way that the mobile (44) is driven thereby, whilst being able to exhibit a relative movement in relation thereto.
