[origin: EP2562091A1] The method involves arranging PET beverage containers (14,16) with horizontal strapping bands (30) formed of flexible thermoplastic material. The horizontal strapping bands are provided with respect to magazine portion (32) with tape guides (34), and application heads (28). The temperature control devices (29,33,37) are provided for controlling the temperature of the horizontal strapping bands. An independent claim is included for packaging machine.
