Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2562378A1] The method involves arranging a thermostat and a proportional valve parallel to an outlet housing. Coolant passing through the valve is guided to an engine block water casing over a block water pipe and conducted to a heater over a heating pipe and conducted to the cooler over a cooler pipe. The coolant passing through the thermostat is conducted to a cooler over a connection pipe. The coolant is flown through the pipes by the thermostat and the valve independent of each other and based on operating types of an internal combustion engine.
