Abstract (en)
The method involves executing an application program for registering an active wireless local area network (LAN) node (5) and for transmitting the identification data of the registered wireless LAN node to a server (12), in a smartphone (6). A global positioning system receiver is activated only during registration of wireless LAN node, so as to determine the position of the smartphone. The position data of the smartphone together with identification data of the registered wireless LAN node are transmitted to server.

Zur Erfassung der Benutzungs- und Anwesenheitsdaten eines Sportlers an einer Sportanlage mittels eines Smartphones (6) ist die Sportanlage mit aktiven W-LAN-Knoten (5) versehen und in das Smartphone (6) ist ein Anwendungsprogramm zur Registrierung eines aktiven W-LAN-Knotens (5) und zur Datenübertragung der Identifikationsdaten des registrierten W-LAN-Knotens (5) an einen Server (12) installiert.
