Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2413338A1] The switchgear has a movable switching contact placed in a thermally operated tripper by a contact bridge support. The contact bridge support is mounted on a spring, and located opposite to fixed contacts (8, 9). Cooling devices (27, 28) made of heat-dissipating material are located sideward to the fixed contacts. The cooling devices are designed as heat sinks (29) that are formed as respective cooling fins. The cooling devices are located on a switching tongue (15) of the thermally operated tripper, and in a wall of a housing that acts as a separator between phases.
