[origin: EP2564943A2] The exciter (1) has two parallel extending unbalance shafts rotatable against one another, on which fixed unbalance mass and movable unbalance mass are arranged. The angular positions of movable unbalance masses are varied by adjusting device for adjusting the amplitude of exciter vibration. The adjusting device has a central adjusting element for amplitude adjustment which acts on movable unbalance masses of the two unbalance shafts. The adjusting element is arranged coaxially to rotational axis about which the exciter is rotatable for vector adjustment of excitation vibration.
