[origin: EP2565148A1] The stacker crane (1) has a frame (2) and drive device (4) which moves lifting carriage (3). The lifting carriage is rotatably provided with a traction unit (6) which is provided with a pulley, and the frame is arranged on a guide roller (10). The acceleration forces of a motor (5) are transmitted in stroke direction and lowering direction by traction unit through a guide wheel (7) to the lifting carriage.
