[origin: EP2565308A1] Provided is a joining method of adjacent knitted fabric portions capable of finishing a boundary portion of the adjacent knitted fabric portions more beautifully than the conventional joining method of the adjacent knitted fabric portions. When increasing the number of courses of the knitted fabric portions by alternately repeating a step of knitting two adjacent knitted fabric portions one course at a time while reversing the knitting width direction for every course, at least one of (1) or (2) is performed at least in some knitting courses. (1) Forming a cross-over yarn that crosses the front and back needle beds from a terminating end of at least one of the adjacent knitted fabric portions and intersecting the cross-over yarn with a knitting yarn of a knitted fabric portion different from the relevant knitted fabric portion. (2) Forming a cross-over yarn that crosses the front and back needle beds from a starting end of at least one of the adjacent knitted fabric portions, and intersecting the cross-over yarn with a knitting yarn of a knitted fabric portion different from the relevant knitted fabric portion.
