Abstract (en)

The oil pan has a bottom section (2) and side surfaces (3,3',3'',3''') surrounding the bottom section. The side surfaces are provided with bearing regions (5,5',5''') that have shell surface, and a vibration bearing area is provided for wounding the shell surface. The vibration bearing area is arranged spaced away from a main extension plane (8) of the side surface assigned to the bearing region. The vibration bearing area has a different elasticity or rigidity as compared to the shell surface, such that a different sound radiation property is produced.

Ölwanne (1) für eine Brennkraftmaschine die wannenförmig ausgebildet ist, umfassend einen Bodenbereich (2) sowie diesen umgebende Seitenflächen (3, 3' ,3', 3''') die an ihrem freien Ende über einen Flanschbereich (4) mit einer Brennkraftmaschine verbindbar ist wobei die Ölwanne (1) zumindest bereichsweise aus Kunststoff und/oder einem Verbundwerkstoff besteht wobei zumindest eine Seitenfläche (3, 3', 3', 3"') mit wenigstens einem Einflussbereich (5) versehen ist der eine Mantelfläche (6) und eine sich an die Mantelfläche (6) anschießende Schwingeinflussfläche (7) umfasst wobei die Schwingeinflussfläche (7) zumindest bereichsweise beabstandet zu der Haupterstreckungsebene (8) der dem Einflussbereich (5) zugeordneten Seitenfläche (3, 3' ,3' ,3"') angeordnet ist und die Schwingeinflussfläche (7) im Vergleich zu der Mantelfläche (6) eine unterschiedliche Elastizität und/oder Steifigkeit aufweist, so dass sich eine unterschiedliche Schallabstrahlungseigenschaft ergibt.
