The vacuum pump has a rotor (10), which has a shaft (12), a hub (40) connected with the shaft and a sleeve (50) that is concentric to the shaft and is connected with a side (42) of the hub. Another sleeve (52), which is concentric to the shaft on another side (44) of the hub lying in an axial direction against the former side, is connected with the latter side of the hub. The former sleeve is subsequently arranged in the gas flow of the latter sleeve. The sleeves are made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vakuumpumpe, insbesondere Molekularvakuumpumpe, mit einem Rotor, welcher eine Welle, eine mit der Welle verbundene Nabe und eine mit einer ersten Seite der Nabe verbundene und zur Welle konzentrische erste Hülse aufweist, wobei wenigstens eine zweite Hülse konzentrisch zur Welle auf einer in einer axialen Richtung der ersten Seite gegenüberliegenden zweiten Seite der Nabe mit dieser verbunden und die erste Hülse im Gasstrom der zweiten Hülse nachfolgend angeordnet ist.
