[origin: WO2011138162A1] The invention relates to a process and to an apparatus for mixing several fluids (1, 2), at least one fluid (2) being formed at least partly by a chemical, into a main stream (6) bounded by a channel wall (5). In this process, very substantially comprehensive mixing of a chemical into the main stream (6) is to be achieved by injecting a first fluid (1) into the main stream (6) at least partly in flow direction (7) of the main stream (6) upstream of a second fluid (2), and the inlet site of the second fluid (2) into the main stream (6) being further removed from the channel wall (5) than the inlet site of the first fluid (1) into the main stream (6).
