[origin: WO2011138296A1] The invention relates to a container (10) for handling and transporting cylinders (100), for example glass cylinders, comprising a bottom wall (40) for supporting the cylinders in z- direction having a support bottom (42) for supporting the cylinders and an opposite outer bottom and side walls (20) for supporting the cylinders in x- direction as well as side walls (30) for supporting the cylinders in y-direction, the side walls (20,30) having a support side for supporting the cylinders and an opposite outer side. The container further comprises geometrical means (50) for distributing a perfect order of the said cylinders (100) when arranged in the container.
