[origin: WO2011137959A1] The invention relates to an electrical door opener (10) comprising: a door opener housing (15) in which a locking element is arranged so as to be rotatably mounted on a rotary shaft (25); a spring-loaded adjusting bracket (40) which is arranged inside the door opener housing so as to be rotatably mounted and which is blocked or released by the locking element; a latch (20) which is operatively connected to the adjusting bracket (40) and blocks or releases a door latch; electromagnets (45, 50) which are operatively connected to the locking element; and a return spring. When current is not supplied to the electromagnets (45, 50), the return spring moves the locking element into a position in which the adjusting bracket (40) is blocked. According to the invention, the locking element comprises two parts, a locking lever (55) and a cascade (60), which are each at a different spacing from the respective associated electromagnet (45, 50), such that the forces of the locking lever (55) and cascade (60) acting on the adjusting bracket (40) are added when the electromagnets (45, 50) are supplied with current.
