The control program (7) has a plurality of completed subprograms (8); furthermore, a subprogram (8) is formed by a starting point (9) and an end point (10) with program run instructions (11) arranged in between. Non-exclusive data areas, to which at least one further subprogram and/or an external process has/have write access, are associated with each subprogram (8). The method has the steps of program instrumentation (1), real-time recording phase (2), data reconstruction (3), run-time reconstruction (4) and analysis phase (5).
