Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011138120A1] The invention relates to a method for changing an operating state of at least one device (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16), wherein a plurality of compare registers, each having a bit pattern (100, 102, 104, 106, 108, 110, 112, 114, 116, 118), are associated with the at least one device (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16), in which method a data packet (120) sent via a network (2) is received by the at least one device (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16), wherein a content of the data packet (120) is compared with the bit patterns (100, 102, 104, 106, 108, 110, 112, 114, 116, 118) of the associated compare registers. A change in the operating state of the at least one device (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16) is effected when the at least one device (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16) detects conformity of a bit pattern (100, 102, 104, 106, 108, 110, 112, 114, 116, 118) of the associated compare register with the content of the data packet (120).
