The shoe i.e. Ballerina shoe has a bottom, an upper (2), and a locking device (3) for locking the barefoot shoe on the foot of a person. The bottom and the upper are completely or partly made of ring structures, where the ring structures are merged into each other in regions of the bottom and the upper. The ring structure includes rings that are made of different materials and have different sizes and/or different cross-sectional profiles, where the rings are made of metal and/or plastic.

Ein Barfußschuh mit Boden (1) und Schaft (2) sowie mit Arretierungen (3) zum Arretieren des Barfußschuhs am Fuß einer den Barfußschuh tragenden Person weist einen vollständig oder wenigstens teilweise ausschließlich aus Ringstrukturen (15) bestehenden Boden (1) auf. Vorzugsweise besteht auch der Schaft (2) vollständig aus Ringstrukturen (15) oder der Schaft weist wenigstens teilweise ausschließlich aus Ringstrukturen bestehende Bereiche auf. Dadurch wird ein Barfußschuh geschaffen, der die Füße einer den Barfußschuh tragenden Person in schnellem Wechsel nass, trocken kalt, warm, usw. hält, ohne dass die Gefahr einer Verletzung besteht und ohne dass die Gefahr eines Eindringens störender Fremdkörper besteht. Der Barfußschuh weist außerdem gute Haftreibungseigenschaften auf, auch auf variablem Untergrund. Der Barfußschuh ist schnell zu reinigen und weist ausreichende hygienische Eigenschaften auf. Der Barfußschuh ist außerdem leicht und flexibel und kann optisch ansprechend gestaltet werden.
