[origin: EP2567737A1] The device has pressure vessel (1) that is provided with an extinguishing agent (6). An extinguishing line (32) is connected to the pressure vessel. A propellant-gas line (37) is in communication with the pressure vessel, and is provided with a propellant gas (31). Shut-off component (9) is arranged between compensation tank (30) and pressure vessel. The shut-off component is configured to automatically separate a fluid connection between pressure vessel and compensation tank in trigger state, when the propellant gas is configured to apply a pressure.
