[origin: EP2567763A1] The molding tool has a molding surface (11) defining tool parts (2.1-2.4), where the molding surface is formed complementary to a portion of a sheet-form member produced by hot forming. The tool parts include cooling channels (8-10) in the form of holes extending along the molding surface. One of the tool parts is provided within another tool part such that one of the cooling channels branches into two cooling channels whose hole axes extend along the molding surface, where short radial distances of the branches from the molding surface differ by not more than 10 percent.
