[origin: EP2567930A1] The device (10) has a rope (30) e.g. steel or fiber rope, partially wound up on a winch (20), and a displacement unit for displacement and/or movement of the winch in two directions along a longitudinal axis of the winch. The displacement unit includes a linear drive (40), a guide (50), and an electronic measuring instrument (60) for direct and/or indirect measurement of sliding movement of the winch. The rope is wound or unwound on the winch through a pulley (70), where the winch is movable parallel to a rotational axis of the pulley.
