Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2568132A1] The double-leg spring (1) comprises a valve train having a pivot lever, a rolling element with an oscillation pivot, and an intermediate element supported onto a gas exchange valve. The stroke caused between the support points on the cams of a camshaft is controlled against the force of spring, such that the oscillating pivot is displaceable according to the stroke length. The spring has a V-shaped intermediate arm which is inserted into a corresponding V-shaped groove (12) formed in the cylinder head, during attachment of the spring to the cylinder head.
