Abstract (en)

The module (5) has a movable cover (10) rotatably arranged to form a light beam in an occulted portion, where the occulted portion follows an object e.g. oncoming vehicle and following vehicle, of a road scene. The cover co-operates with a backlash removal spring (11). The spring is integrated into a gear motor sub-assembly rotating the cover. The cover comprises a pin serving as a pivot during the rotation of the cover, and the spring comprises whorls around the pin. An electrical motor (20) i.e. stepper motor, is arranged to cooperate with the cover to drive the cover in rotation.
