[origin: EP2568443A1] Disclosed is an electronic seal for sealing a door. The door is equipped with a latch. The electronic seal includes a plug and a socket. The plug can be inserted in the socket through the latch. Thus, the door is sealed by the electronic seal. The door cannot be opened without breaking the electric seal. The electronic seal records any event of breakage.
