Abstract (en)
The cash box (10) has a receiving area (12) for receiving bank notes. A control unit (18) is provided to control a display unit (22), such that the current opening status of the cash box is displayed. Two operating states for the cash box are preset. Information, that the cashbox is operated in the former operating states, is displayed with the help of the display unit. A display, particularly a liquid crystal display, is provided in the display unit. The area (24) is formed as a segmented display with two segments.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Geldkassette (10), die einen Aufnahmebereich (12) zur Aufnahme von Wertscheinen, eine Entwertungseinheit (14) zum irreversiblen Entwerten der aufgenommenen Wertscheine, eine Steuereinheit (18) zum Steuern der Entwertungseinheit (14) sowie eine Anzeigeeinheit (22) umfasst. Die Steuereinheit (18) steuert die Anzeigeeinheit (22) derart an, dass die Anzeigeeinheit (22) zumindest den aktuellen Betriebszustand der Geldkassette (10) anzeigt.
