In order to advantageously design a closure for a receptacle, in particular an ampoule, in which a drug is received, with respect to carrying out a freeze-drying process, the closure stopper (5) can be shifted relative to the cap (2) by means of the sliding part (3) in order to move it into the closed position. The invention further relates to a method for carrying out a freeze-drying process for a medium, in particular a drug, received in a receptacle, in particular an ampoule (9).
