[origin: EP2570351A1] The deep drawn packaging machine has a molding station with a mold tool base (30) and a sealing station with a sealing tool base. The sealing tool base has a sealed seam bearing as a support for an edge of the stand package during a sealing operation. The molding tool base has a movably mounted mold wall section (32) and the sealed seam bearing has a movably mounted sealed seam bearing section. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing stand packages by a deep drawn packaging machine.
