Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2570566A2] The device has an auxiliary fixation element (30) for attaching a covering profile on a profile base (10). The element is a spring blade including a support against top of walls (14), in an intermediate position of the element, where the blade has a transverse dimension in the intermediate position. A fixing unit is arranged against sides of the walls in a final position, where the blade has another transverse dimension lower than the former dimension. The element is deformed radially from the intermediate position to the final position during introduction of a strip in a groove (18). An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a capping strip device.
