The system (1) has a hood (10) and an air conditioning device (11) which is connected with the hood through an air duct (12). A plasma source for air treatment, has an air duct branch (120) which is provided between the hood and the air conditioning device. A spoiler (13) is provided in the region of the air duct branch and adjustable in three operating positions such as cleaning position, dissipation position and mixture position. An independent claim is included for method for operating the vapor extractor system.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Dunstabzugssystem, das eine Dunstabzugshaube (10) und mindestens eine Luftaufbereitungsvorrichtung (11) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Luftaufbereitungsvorrichtung (11) mit der Dunstabzugshaube (10) über eine Luftführung (12) verbunden ist und mindestens eine Plasmaquelle (111) für die Luftaufbereitung aufweist, das Dunstabzugssystem (1) zwischen der Dunstabzugshaube (10) und der mindestens einen Luftaufbereitungsvorrichtung (11) eine Verzweigung (120) der Luftführung (12) aufweist und im Bereich der Verzweigung (120) zumindest eine Luftleitvorrichtung (13) vorgesehen ist, die in mindestens drei Betriebsstellungen einstellbar ist. Zudem betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines solchen Dunstabzugssystems.
